A pre-race sample was taken from Pacific Angel.
Lady Juar was quick to begin. Allen Clown was slow to begin. Pacific Angel, Oh Lele Peter and Handsome Cosmo collided soon after the start, severely checking Handsome Cosmo which fell as a result. Il Bacard, Rebel Lady and Allen Clown collided approaching the home turn, checking Rebel Lady. Sheza Black Rose and Pacific Angel collided approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Oh Lele Peter and Sheza Black Rose collided in the home straight, checking Sheza Black Rose.
Handsome Cosmo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
