Capacity was quick to begin. He's Schmick was very slow to begin (3 lengths).
Frimpong and Bet Bet Apollo collided approaching the first turn checking Linkin Grange, Bet Bet Apollo and Jack's Elle. Gold Kate, He's Schmick and Claretown Milo collided on the first turn checking Gold Kate. Gold Kate checked off Linkin Grange on the home turn. Linkin Grange raced wide on the home turn.
Jack's Elle was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
