Cosmic Black and Sunraysia Phil collided soon after the start checking Cosmic Black. Which Arandt crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Apache Galo and White Gold. White Gold and Apache Galo collided on the first turn checking Apache Galo. Bet Bet Ryan, Hard To Earn and Hannah Boden collided approaching the home turn checking Hard To Earn. Hannah Boden raced wide in the home straight.
Apache Galo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and the right hock. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
