Dura Mater and Dot Com Diesel were slow to begin. Bit Iffy checked off Samsara Lass soon after the start. Pequeno Rayo checked off Dura Mater approaching the first turn, checking Bit Iffy. Gee Boy and Samsara Lass collided approaching the first turn, checking Samsara Lass and Mechatronic, and causing Mechatronic to stumble and lose ground. Railway Conder and Samsara Lass collided approaching the home turn. Samsara Lass and Dot Com Diesel raced wide entering the home straight. Dura Mater and Mechatronic collided in the home straight.
Mechatronic was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
