This event was declared a no race by Stewards after box 8 (Saint Oaks) failed to open, and boxes 6 ( Skyfire) and 7 (Spring Drifter) partially opened, resulting in all three greyhounds being denied a fair start.(GAR 56 (1) )Skyfire was vetted following the event.  It was reported tha the greyhound sustained a laceration to its neck, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

The start of this event was delayed by 6 minutes.

Shake 'Em Up and Bojack were slow to begin.  Suspicious Cal was very slow to begin (3 L).  Hillbilly Em and Clovalley Dolly collided soon after the start.  Hillbilly Em and Shake 'Em Up collided on the first turn, checking Hillbilly Em.  Clovalley Dolly and Lektra Oscar collided on the first turn, checking Clovalley Dolly, Sisco Gillie and Bojack, and severely checking Nevada Triangle, which fell as a result.  Bojack and Suspicious Cal raced wide on the home turn and in the straight.

Nevada Triangle was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right stopper and left hind medial thigh, a three day stand down period was imposed.

Uberto checked off Bonfire Storm soon after the start.  Eaglehawk Beffa and Bonfire Storm collided approaching the first turn.  Transylvania checked off Eaglehawk Beffa on the first turn.  Eaglehawk Beffa and Rowdy Richard collided on the first turn.  Uberto checked off Transylvania on the home turn.

Bonfire Storm was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Lektra Goose was slow to begin.  Mischievous Win checked off Stylish Label approaching the first turn.  Arcup Archer and Lektra Goose raced wide on the home turn.  Elite Gas checked off Lektra Goose in the home straight.  Arcup Archer faultered approaching the winning post.

Arcup Archer was vetted and after being re-vetted following event eight, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right and left stopper and right metacarpal, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Bursting Flames, Devil's Dance and Mr Snackman were slow to begin.  Coopnarcha and Zelemar Zest collided soon after the start, checking Zelemar Zest.  Premier Hawk, Despedida and Mr Snackman collided on the first turn, checking Despedida, Bursting Flames and Devil's Dance.  Bursting Flames and Devil's Dance collided on the home turn and again approaching the winning post.

Run On Rosey and Able Chief were slow to begin.  Lord Kitchener, Big Black Rusty and Tycoon Diamond collided soon after the start, checking Big Black Rusty.  Missy's Return and Jasmine Lilly collided on the first turn.  Lord Kitchener and Tycoon Diamond collided in the back straight, checking Tycoon Diamond.  Run On Rosey, Able Chief and Tycoon Diamond collided on the second turn.

My Minion went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.  Tredgar and Tekki Tyrant were slow to begin.  My Minion and Tredgar collided soon after the start, checking both greyhounds.  Annabella Girl and Sisco Fiasco collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn, checking Sisco Fiasco.  Tekki Tyrant and Scunitza Speed collided on the first turn, checking Tekki Tyrant which stumbled as a result.  Tredgar, Tekki Tyrant and Sisco Fiasco collided approaching the home turn.  Tekki Tyrant checked off Sisco Fiasco in the home straight. Both Tredgar and My Minion fell after passing the winning post.

Tekki Tyrant was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a nail bed injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
