Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr P.Gabrielle, representative of Sardia, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between racing. Mr Gabrielle stated that Sardia is returning to racing after sustaining a left shoulder and left hock injury.
Dr Oden was slow to begin. Blitzem Cola and Dodge The Cop collided soon after the start. Dr Oden crossed to the outside at the 300m mark and collided with Sherry Baby.
Sweet Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Cosmic Butterfly was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Following this event all races were put back one race due to consistent rain, which contributed to the tractor becoming bogged on the track at the 90m mark. The track was repaired, Stewards inspected the track and were satisfied that it was safe for racing. The track was downgraded to slow at 2:05pm..
