Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr Dennis Langley, the trainer of Mr. Charley Bear regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Mr. Charley Bear last raced on the 9th May, 2015. Mr. Langley stated that the greyhound was returning from an injured triangle muscle.
Miss Kadia and Cosmic Jewel were quick to begin. Will Be Back and Text Me Tony were slow to begin. Miss Kadia and Cosmic Jewel collided soon after the start. Miss Kadia and Mr. Charley Bear collided approaching the first turn. Andrej's crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Andrej's and Miss Kadia and severely checking Walmac, Cosmic Jewel, Text Me Tony, Mr. Charley Bear and Will Be Back, Channing fell as a result. Will Be Back was checked off Cosmic Jewel approaching the home turn.
Channing was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
