Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr J.Stravropoulos, the trainer of Come On Lassy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Come On Lassy last raced on 26th April, 2015. Mr Stravropoulos stated that the greyhound had been recovering from a right hock injury.
Teecee Raider and Greysynd Chief were slow to begin. Snow Hawke checked off Super Veloce soon after the start. Emily Jane, Chelsea Drogba and Dolly Dyer collided soon after the start, checking Chelsea Drogba and Dolly Dyer. Snow Hawke, Chelsea Drogba, Dolly Dyer and Greysynd Chief collided on the first turn, checking Chelsea Drogba, Greysynd Chief, severely checking Dolly Dyer and Teecee Raider. Come On Lassy, Super Veloce and Emily Jane collided approaching the home turn. Emily Jane, Dolly Dyer and Greysynd Chief raced wide on the home turn.
Dolly Dyer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
