Reignlee was quick to begin. Our Luck was slow to begin. Unique Ghosty, Look Away and All Inn Tops collided soon after the start, checking Look Away and All Inn Tops. Look Away and All Inn Tops collided approaching the first turn, checking Look Away. Our Luck and Rue De Rose collided approaching the first turn, checking Rue De Rose. Our Luck and Scarlett Lad collided on the first turn, checking Scarlett Lad. All Inn Tops checked off Our Luck on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Rue De Rose checked off Our Luck in the home straight. 

Scarlett Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Melos Girlfriend was a late scratching at 11:24am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Midnight Ebony was a late scratching at 6:10pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness / elevated temperature. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Semjase and Marmasette were quick to begin. Awsome To Excel and Old Zebb collided soon after the start, checking Awsome To Excel. Semjase, Big Hutchie and Tronathon collided on the first turn, checking Tronathon and Marmasette. Old Zebb checked off Semjase on the third turn. Semjase raced wide in the home straight.

Four Secrets was quick to begin. Lucia Rossa and Duff Bale collided soon after the start, checking Lucia Rossa. Aston Dawn and Startin To Shake collided soon after the start, checking Startin To Shake. Aston Dawn, Valoshore and Duff Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Valoshore and severely checking Aston Dawn which stumbled and lost considerable ground. Wally Walter and Four Secrets collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Valoshore and Lucia Rossa collided approaching the winning post. 

Aston Dawn was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the left front toes, right hind toes and right hind lateral hock. No stand down period was imposed.

Mighty Hulk was quick to begin. Zulu Retreat and Junner Bale were slow to begin. Straw Hat Luffy checked off Some Tricks on the first turn. Mighty Hulk checked off Some Tricks approaching the home turn. Fantastic Pete and Cosmic Ketut collided approaching the home turn, checking Cosmic Ketut. Mighty Hulk and Cadence Bale collided on the home turn. Junner Bale and Straw Hat Luffy collided on the home turn. Cosmic Ketut and Some Tricks raced wide entering the home straight. Zulu Retreat checked off Junner Bale entering the home straight. Mighty Hulk checked off Cadence Bale entering the home straight. Zulu Retreat and Cadence Bale collided several times in the home straight. Cosmic Ketut and Some Tricks collided several times in the home straight. Mighty Hulk raced wide in the home straight.

Ravager Bale was a late scratching at 6:25pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness / elevated temperature and dehydration. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Nunya Tron was slow to begin. Nunya Tron checked off Antivist approaching the first turn. Dyna Malaise checked off Liam on the first turn. Dyna Malaise checked off Express Pace approaching the home turn, checking Jen Zarr Go, Antivist, Nunya Tron, Super Leggera and causing Antivist, Nunya Tron and Super Leggera to race wide as a result. Jen Zarr Go and Dyna Malaise collided on the home turn. Jen Zarr Go checked off Dyna Malaise in the home straight.

Kraken Conan was quick to begin. Coota's Cazaly was slow to begin. Ultima Bale and Impact Bale collided soon after the start, checking Impact Bale. Hawka Tron and All Inn Menphis collided soon after the start, checking All Inn Menphis. All Inn Menphis checked off Smooth Rebel approaching the first turn. Smooth Rebel and Impact Bale collided on the first turn, checking Smooth Rebel. Coota's Cazaly raced wide on the home turn. 

A pre race sample was taken Jordy Paige.

Sonny's Tas, Dot Com Diesel and Peragon Falcon were slow to begin. Dynamo's Gift and Jordy Paige collided soon after the start, checking Jordy Paige. Jordy Paige and Absolute Silence collided approaching the first turn, checking Jordy Paige. Absolute Silence crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking Dot Com Diesel, severely checking Peragon Falcon, Sonny's Tas and Jordy Paige. Dynamo's Gift checked off White Spyro in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr J.Stravropoulos, the trainer of Come On Lassy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Come On Lassy last raced on 26th April, 2015. Mr Stravropoulos stated that the greyhound had been recovering from a right hock injury. 

Teecee Raider and Greysynd Chief were slow to begin. Snow Hawke checked off Super Veloce soon after the start. Emily Jane, Chelsea Drogba and Dolly Dyer collided soon after the start, checking Chelsea Drogba and Dolly Dyer. Snow Hawke, Chelsea Drogba, Dolly Dyer and Greysynd Chief collided on the first turn, checking Chelsea Drogba, Greysynd Chief, severely checking Dolly Dyer and Teecee Raider. Come On Lassy, Super Veloce and Emily Jane collided approaching the home turn. Emily Jane, Dolly Dyer and Greysynd Chief raced wide on the home turn. 

Dolly Dyer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Mr D.Pattinson trainer of Jadeite declared a new weight of 27.4kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Jadeite last raced at 25.4kg.

Wolfpack was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Sheoak Marnie, Highfield Bessie, Mepunga Brodie and Jadeite collided soon after the start, checking Highfield Bessie. Sheoak Marnie, Mepunga Brodie and Jadeite collided approaching the first turn, checking Sheoak and Mepunga Brodie. Wolfpack checked off Me Name's Nelson approaching the home turn. Sheoak Marnie and Mepunga Brodie collided on the home turn and raced wide entering the home straight. 

Cosmic Lily was quick to begin. Highbury checked off In A Daze soon after the start. Derby Magic checked off Oaklands approaching the first turn. Champer Bale checked off Cosmic Lily on the first turn, checking Mr Fox, severely checking Derby Magic and Champer Bale. Champer Bale clipped the heels of In A Daze approaching the home turn, checking Highbury and causing Champer Bale to fall.

Champer Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right lateral hock and left front toe. No stand down period was imposed. 

Highbury was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Shirley Bass and Mary's Guess were quick to begin. Coursing Bale checked off Locked Out soon after the start. Daphne's Party checked off Ivy Lane soon after the start. Locked Out checked off Smashing Blue on the first turn, checking Coursing Bale and Daphne's Party. Virtue checked off Shirley Bass approaching the home turn. Daphne's Party and Locked Out collided several times in the home straight, checking Locked Out.
