Stewards spoke to the representative of Sav Bam Boom, Mr. M Delaroche prior to the meeting and ascertained that the greyhound had not started in a race since 01.05.2015 due to a Metacarpal injury. Stewards noted Mr. Delaroche's explanation.
Regal Jazz and Sav Mab Boom were slow to begin. Run Plebbie Run, Go Manic and Blazing Nitro collided soon after the start, checking Go Manic. Regal Jazz crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark, checking Regal Jazz and Run Plebbie Run. Regal Jazz and Go Manic collided at the 150m mark.
Causeway Cait was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
