Stewards spoke to the representative of Sav Bam Boom, Mr. M Delaroche prior to the meeting and ascertained that the greyhound had not started in a race since 01.05.2015 due to a Metacarpal injury. Stewards noted Mr. Delaroche's explanation. 

Regal Jazz and Sav Mab Boom were slow to begin.  Run Plebbie Run, Go Manic and Blazing Nitro collided soon after the start, checking Go Manic.  Regal Jazz crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark, checking Regal Jazz and Run Plebbie Run.  Regal Jazz and Go Manic collided at the 150m mark.

Causeway Cait was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Myalla Five was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Emp Girl, Bondi Buddy and Dr. Rollo were slow to begin.  Sweet Shiraz crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Dr. Rollo.  Dr. Rollo crossed to the outside approaching the 250m mark.

Emp Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured lower back, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Myalla Five was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right triceps and monkey muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Rollo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr W McMahon, the handler of Dr. Rollo regarding his use of a mobile phone in the stir up yard.  Stewards charged Mr McMahon with a breach of GAR 44.  Mr McMahon pleaded guilty, and was found guilty and fined the sum of $100.00. In determining this decision stewards took into consideration Mr. McMahon's prior warnings for using his mobile phone in the kennelling area. 

Ripstick Ella was quick to begin.  Rioli's Show was slow to begin.  Blitzem Cola and Quite Spritely collided soon after the start, and again at the 300m mark.  Ripstick Ella crossed to the rail at the 250m mark and collided with Spring To Mind.  Blitzem Cola, Quite Spritely and Jazzy New Year collided at the 200m mark, checking Blitzem Cola and Quite Spritely.  Quite Spritely checked off Blitzem Cola at the 150m mark.

Tiger Chien and Riverside Shaz were slow to begin.  Wise Toffee and Dr. Ripped collided soon after the start.  Shanae Rose and Tiger Chien collided at the 300m mark.  Stumble checked off Wise Toffee at the 150m mark and collided with Tiger Chien, checking Tiger Chien.  Stumble, Tiger Chien and Four Four Two collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. J Shaw, representative of the greyhound Wise Toffee regarding the greyhounds improved performance. He stated that the greyhound had had three weeks between runs. Mr. Shaw also added that the greyhound found the front easily today and had an uninterupted run. Stewards noted Mr. Shaw's explanation and directed that a sample be taken. 

Stewards spoke to the representative of Furious Flash, Mr. N Punshon prior to the meeting and asceratined that the greyhound had not started in a race since 06.05.2015 due to a virus in the kennels. Stewards noted Mr. Punshon's explanation. 

Furious Flash was slow to begin.  Ollington, Changing Lights and Red Cadillac collided soon after the start, checking Ollington.  Furious Flash, Dr. Phil, Red Cadillac, Eli's Jet and Golden collided at the 300m mark, checking Furious Flash, Dr. Phil, Eli's Jet, Changing Lights and Ollington.  Dr. Phil and Eli's Jet collided at the 200m mark.

Brazen Bull was slow to begin and crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Shared Bonus.  Dr. Rahoual checked off Shared Bonus soon after the start.  Big Ticket and Texan Titan collided soon after the start.  Lumpstar checked off Big Ticket at the 300m mark, checking Brazen Bull.

Ima Cosmic and Eumeralla Donny were slow to begin.  Ima Cosmic and Thunderous Night collided approaching the 300m mark, checking Thunderous Night.  Ima Cosmic and Chloe's Entity collided approaching the 150m mark, checking Chloe's Entity.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr F Meyer, handler of Thunderous Night, regarding the use of his mobile phone.

Due Process and Shared Equity collided soon after the start, checking Due Process.  Due Process crossed to the outside at the 300m mark and collided with Gaelic Peter, checking Pud and Gaelic Peter.  Eddie Yap and Pud collided at the 250m mark.

Stewards spoke to the representative of Elusive Master, Mr. N Punshon prior to the meeting and asceratined that the greyhound had not started in a race since 15.09.2014 due to a virus in the kennel and a number of small injuries. Stewards noted Mr. Punshon's explanation. 

El Toro Loco and Andelven were slow to begin.  Mr. Leigh, El Toro Loco and Andelven collided soon after the start, checking El Toro Loco.  Air Candy, El Toro Loco and Andelven collided several times at the 300m mark, checking El Toro Loco and Air Candy.  Mr. Leigh and Cool Lois collided at the 250m mark, and again at the 150m mark, checking Cool Lois.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Good Old Oscar, Mr. P Cusack prior to the meeting and asceratined that the greyhound had not started in a race since 09.02.2015 due to two dropped back muscles. Mr. Cusack added that the greyhound had been coursing of late at Benalla, Longwood and Lang Lang. Stewards noted Mr. Cusack's explanation.

Good Old Oscar and Jules Norris were slow to begin.  Kennel Princess, Hugh Made Who and Pep Cee Kola collided soon after the start.  Jukebox Hero and Deceptive Size collided approaching the 250m mark.

Good Old Oscar was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained lower back soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Deceptive Size was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injured left and right wrists and right triceps, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Kennel Princess was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

MEETING CONDITIONS:

Satisfactory Trial Results - Bit Chili Billie trialled over the 350m from box 8, weight 30.1kgs, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 19.78, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 11.5 lengths. Bit Chili Billie was not cleared.
