Boris Winslow was quick to begin. Whirl's Blue was slow to begin. Denya and Hell Blazin' collided soon after the start, checking Hell Blazin'. Going For Broke checked off Woolly Warbo approaching the home turn. Hell Blazin' and Whirl's Blue collided approaching the home turn, on the home turn and again in the home straight. Going For Broke and Woolly Warbo raced wide in the home straight. 

Tizza Rebel was quick to begin. Buddy Arrow and Toothless Homer were slow to begin. Batty Allen and Flying Do Do collided soon after the start, checking Flying Do Do. Cosmic Lacey, Just Angus and Batty Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking Just Angus. Cosmic Lacey and Batty Allen collided on the first turn, checking Batty Allen. Just Angus and Flying Do Do collided on the home turn. Flying Do Do checked off Buddy Arrow in the home straight. Just Angus crossed to the outside in the home straight and race wide, checking Buddy Arrow. 

Lektra Jewel was quick to begin. Ima Blaze was slow to begin. Yipy Mississippi, Project Pat and Nordul's Hope collided soon after the start, checking Project Pat. Yipy Mississippi and Nordul's Hope collided several times approaching the first turn. Ima Blaze, Yipy Mississippi and Nordul's Hope collided on the first turn, checking Yipy Mississippi, Nordul's Hope and Project Pat. Ima Blaze checked off Yipy Mississippi in the home straight.

Mabuti Girl was quick to begin. Lynlea Jake and Miss Jacovella were slow to begin. Off The Property crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Mabuti Girl, Arolok Jane, New Job Jimmy and Lynlea Jake. Mabuti Girl, Crabbie Abbie and Tizza Nitro collided on the first turn, checking Mabuti Girl, and severely checking Miss Jacovella, Arolok Jane and Crabbie Abbie. Arolok Jane checked off Lynlea Jake entering the home straight. Crabbie Abbie checked off Miss Jacovella entering the home straight. 

Crabbie Abbie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right elbow, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Southwood Rose, Supreme Deal, Wolf Spy and Direwolf Ghost were slow to begin. Kirabilli Lacey and Boris Bekim collided soon after the start, checking Boris Bekim. Bryvon and Lots Of Yap collided approaching the first turn, checking Lots Of Yap. Southwood Rose and Wolf Spy collided on the first turn, checking Southwood Rose. Kirabilli Lacey raced wide on the home turn. Wolf Spy and Boris Bekim collided on the home turn, checking Wolf Spy. Wolf Spy and Kirabilli Lacey raced wide in the home straight.

Mr. N. Wynd, trainer of Golden Girl Anna redeclared a new weight of 25.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Golden Girl Anna last raced at 26.3kg.

Cazar Rose was quick to begin. Little Ginny, Evening In Paris and Sure Cheap collided soon after the start, checking Little Ginny and Sure Cheap. Magic Success, Golden Girl Anna  and Cazar Rose collided approaching the first turn, checking Golden Girl Anna and Cazar Rose. Evening In Paris, Hero To Zero and Golden Girl Anna collided on the first turn, checking Sure Cheap, Cazar Rose, Evening In Paris and Hero To Zero, and severely checking Golden Girl Anna. Sure Cheap and Hero To Zero collided on the home turn. Evening In Paris and Sure Cheap collided entering the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr S Coulson, representative of the greyhound Hot Gold in regards to the extended period of time between the greyhound's races.  Hot Gold last raced on the 26th February, 2015.  Mr Coulson stated that Hot Gold was returning to race after suffering a hock injury.  Stewards noted Mr Coulson's explanation.

Crymelon Scylla checked off Hot Gold approaching the first turn. Noaki Buckley checked off Maximum Shera approaching the first turn. Noaki Buckley, Maximum Shera and Starlight Safari collided on the first turn, checking Noaki Buckley, Maximum Shera and Crymelon Scylla. Noaki Buckley and Hot Gold  raced wide in the home straight. 

Iona Cece and Kinloch Creek were quick to begin. Fear Helvetia was slow to begin. Fear Helvetia and Dark Obsession collided soon after the start. Mag Spring and Southwood Jack collided soon after the start, checking Southwood Jack. Mazzetti and Kinloch Creek collided soon after the start, checking Kinloch Creek. Fear Helvetia clipped the heels of Dark Obsession approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Iona Cece checked off Mag Spring on the first turn. Iona Cece and Kinloch Creek collided approaching the home turn, checking Kinloch Creek. Kinloch Creek checked off Dark Obsession in the home straight. Southwood Jack raced wide in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr R Gavin, trainer of the greyhound Another Halo in regards to the extended period of time between the greyhound's races.  Another Halo last raced on the 16th April, 2015.  Mr Gavin stated that Another Halo was returning to race after suffering a metatarsal injury.  Stewards noted Mr Gavin's explanation.

Kirabilli Ronan was slow to begin. Pop Always Said and Eumeralla Flash collided soon after the start, checking Pop Always Said. Mepunga Atom, Eumeralla Flash and Logic Lad collided approaching the first turn, checking Another Halo. Another halo checked off Pop Always Said on the first turn. Logic Lad, Eumeralla Flash and Mepunga Atom collided on the first turn, checking Mepunga Atom and Eumeralla Flash. Eumeralla Flash, Premier Yap and Logic Lad collided on the home turn, checking Eumerlla Flash, Premier Yap and Pop Always Said. Mepunga Atom and Eumerlla Flash collided in the home straight. Premier Yap and Maximum Melva collided in the home straight, checking Premier Yap. Premier Yap cramped approaching the winning post and fell as a result. Another Halo tired over the concluding stage of the event. 

Another Halo was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Premier Yap was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained cramping, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Boers, the trainer of the greyhound Premier Yap.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Arolok Jimmy was quick to begin. Saint Jane was slow to begin. Saint Jane checked off Bungaloo Sunset soon after the start. Bungaloo Sunset checked off Crackerjack Andy soon after the start, checking Saint Jane. Hashtag Danny checked off Crackerjack Andy approaching the first turn. Tear Away Kuda checked off Crackerjack Andy on the first turn. Saint Jane and Bungaloo Sunset collided approaching the home turn, severely checking  both greyhounds, and causing Saint Jane to stumble. Crackerjack Andy checked off Saywah Tonayo on the home turn. Saint Jane and Bungaloo Sunset raced wide in the home straight.

Maximum Maddy was quick to begin. Specify and Due Process were slow to begin. Specify checked off Ay Goodes soon after the start. Dee Tee and Grand Slam Diva collided soon after the start, checking Dee Tee and El Bee Cee. Courtesy and Maximum Maddy collided on the first turn, checking Maximum Maddy. Dee Tee checked off Maximum Maddy approaching the home turn. Grand Slam Diva and Due Process raced wide on the home turn. El Bee Cee, Grand Slam Diva and Due Process raced wide in the home straight.
