Dark Tantra, Dr. Chitchat and Lynlaw Harvey were slow to begin.  Dark Corgi and Dr. Chitchat collided approaching the first turn.  Awesome Premier and Dark Tantra collided on the first turn checking Dark Tantra and Dark Corgi and severely checking Awesome Premier and Dr. Chitchat.  Miley checked off Striking Bird approaching the home turn.  Striking Bird raced wide on the home turn.

Arolok Hobo was slow to begin.  Wild West Stress and Big Cole collided soon after the start checking Big Cole.  Arolok Hobo, Wild West Stress, Pyrenee's Dynasty and Western Reign collided on the first turn checking Western Reign and severely checking Arolok Hobo, Pyrenee's Dynasty, Wild West Stress and Big Cole; Big Cole raced wide as a result.  Prince Of Magic checked off Imaculee on the second turn.  Arolok Hobo and Big Cole collided in the home straight.

Big Cole was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

My Master and Spare Parts were slow to begin.  Big Steal checked off Bekim Echo soon after the start.  Sparkletini and Aries Queen collided soon after the start severely checking Sparkletini.  Sparkletini and Big Steal collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Sparkletini raced wide on the home turn.

Sparkletini was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left shoulder.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Big Steal was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A sample was taken from Bekim Echo, the winner of the event.

Midwinter was slow to begin.  Deep Rock and Burst Of Magic collided soon after the start.  Flying Opal, Deep Rock, Burst Of Magic, Blonde Man and Blonde Boucheau collided on the first turn checking Deep Rock and Burst Of Magic.  Deep Rock and Burst Of Magic collided several times entering the back straight checking Burst Of Magic.

This event was run approximately 2 mins late due to an issue with the judging system. 

Uncontrollable was quick to begin.  Sky Alert, Shattered Ice and He's Schmick were slow to begin.  Fancy Assassin crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Cosmic Daicos and He's Schmick.  Fancy Assassin, Zorzoli, Sky Alert and Shattered Ice collided approaching the first turn checking Zorzoli and Shattered Ice and severely checking Sky Alert.  Uncontrollable and Vapour Caper collided on the home turn.  Cosmic Daicos raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Sky Alert was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hock.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Hook Him In and Mandzukic collided soon after the start.  Pyrenee's Grand and Keep Warm collided soon after the start.  Pyrenee's Gold, Keep Warm, Where's Exford, Hook Him In, Mandzukic and High Hopes collided on the first turn checking Pyrenee's Grand and Hook Him In and severely checking Where's Exford and Mandzukic.  Lily Black raced wide in the back straight.  Where's Exford and Mandzukic collided on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Just A Dot and High Hopes collided on the second turn.  Lily Black raced wide in the home straight.  Keep Warm crossed to the rail approaching the winning post checking Just A Dot.

Where's Exford was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mandzukic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Vincent, regarding the direction that the greyhound Just A Dot be boxed first.  Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.

Sir Murray was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Thunder Chief and Slipaway Jenifer collided soon after the start checking Slipaway Jenifer.  Flash Boof, Thunder Chief, Nuggy Burger, Crymelon Sunrise, Mr. Stealer and Class Aire collided on the first turn checking Flash Boof and Sir Murray and severely checking Thunder Chief, Nuggy Burger, Crymelon Sunrise and Mr. Stealer.  Nuggy Burger, Crymelon Sunrise and Sir Murray collided on the second turn checking Sir Murray.  Sir Murray raced wide on the home turn.

Sir Murray was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hock.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Z. Aleksov regarding the improved performance of Thunder Chief.  Mr. Aleksov stated that the greyhound was down in class and back in distance and added that the greyhound did all his early education at the track and has a good win loss record when competing at Ballarat.  Stewards noted Mr. Aleksov's explaination and directed that a sample be taken.

Oops and Classique were slow to begin.  Flying Casey and High Mission collided soon after the start.  Oops, Classique and Young Hawke collided approaching the first turn checking Classique.  Flying Casey checked off High Mission approaching the first turn.  Destini Lobo, Oops and Young Hawke collided approaching the first turn checking Young Hawke.  Giants Dance checked off Mahogany Saphire on the first turn.  Young Hawke, Classique and Flying Casey collided approaching the home turn.  Oops and Destini Lobo collided several times approaching the home turn.  Classique, Young Hawke, Flying Casey and Giants Dance raced wide in the home straight.

Karaoke Ken and Spa Peter collided soon after the start.  Kilty Miss and Sunshine Diva collided soon after the start.  Crymelon Nugget and Pure Riddle collided approaching the first turn checking Crymelon Nugget, Kilty Miss and Sunshine Diva.  Spa Peter raced wide on the first turn.  Crymelon Nugget, Karaoke Ken and Kilty Miss collided approaching the home turn.  Spa Peter raced wide in the home straight.

Mr. J Loudon advised stewards that he is no longer the owner of the greyhound Big Bad Bone. The trainer of the greyhound Mr. R Gladman was advised by stewards to update the greyhounds ownership details before the greyhound competes again. 

Big Bad Bone, Makaman and Dirty Paws collided soon after the start.  Makaman and Dirty Paws collided approaching the first turn.  Lucia Rossa, Big Bad Bone and Louisiana Lil collided on the first turn checking Lucia Rossa, Stolen Gem and Quaker Bale; Stolen Gem raced wide as a result.  Makaman checked off Dirty Paws on the first turn.  Quaker Bale and Dirty Paws collided approaching the home turn severely checking both greyhounds.

Quaker Bale was vettedf following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Baroness Tippy was quick to begin.  Green Stone was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Urban Rock Star and Maximum Melva collided soon after the start checking Urban Rock Star.  Green Stone checked off Peyton Paradise approaching the first turn.  Peyton Paradise and Coka Bach collided approaching the home turn checking Peyton Paradise and Green Stone.  Urban Rock Star raced wide in the home straight.

Urban Rock Star was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left thigh.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Key Largo Prince was slow to begin.  Sparkling Kitty, Baroness Molly, Don's Licker and Suave Odessa collided soon after the start checking Baroness Molly.  Don's Licker checked off Suave Odessa approaching the first turn.  Suave Odessa, Sparkling Kitty and Maximum Shera collided approaching the first turn.  Maximum Shera and Baroness Molly collided approaching the home turn.  Baroness Molly and Key Largo Prince collided on the home turn.  Southern Blaze raced wide in the home straight.  Cruisy Limelight and Sparkling Kittycollided in the home straight.  Cruisy Limelight, Sparkling Kitty and Baroness Molly collided approaching the winning post.

Don's Licker was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
