Steward's Report
Run Hayley Run, Mr. Hutchy, Violet Pass and Tangled Sky were slow out. Regal Ride and Turtle Express collided approaching the first turn, checking Regal Ride. Violet Pass eased on the first turn. Run Hayley Run checked off Regal Ride on the first turn. Tangled Sky raced wide on the home turn.
Violet Pass was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Trainer, Mr S Kipirtidis declined the option to have the greyhound re-vetted.
Acting under GAR 69(1)(b), Stewards charged Violet Pass with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Warragul and directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial, pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
