Steward's Report
Diesel Drive was slow to begin. Chocolyn Chaser and Demonstrous collided soon after the start. Siabod and Path To Stress collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Cool And Fancy, Demonstrous and Sooty Smith collided approaching the first turn checking Cool And Fancy. Siabod checked off Diesel Drive on the first turn severely checking Siabod which stumbled and tailed off. Demonstrous and Sooty Smith collided several times approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Allen Barry was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Siabod was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hock fracture, and was subsequently euthanised.
