Steward's Report
Nwah Sambuca was quick to begin. Poverty Park and Howdy Rowdy were slow to begin. King Of Kings and Excessive Noise collided soon after the start. Miss Woorndoo and Zippy Zara collided soon after the start. Excessive Noise, Miss Woorndoo and Zippy Zara collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Woorndoo and Zippy Zara. King Of Kings and Miss Woorndoo collided on the home turn. Howdy Rowdy raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Miss Woorndoo and Nwah Sambuca collided in the home straight. Nwah Sambuca lost ground in the concluding stages of the event.
Nwah Sambuca was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right pencil muscles and right triangle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Howdy Rowdy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to the trainer of Howdy Rowdy Mr. A.Harding regarding the greyhounds racing manners throughout the event. After reviewing the video replay and acting on their own observations, Stewards decided to take no further action.
