Steward's Report
This event was hand started.
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Zero Knockin which was scratched in this event on 22nd September 2016 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Bamba Lam Barney and Bobby Bound were slow to begin. Umiko Bale, Revision and Mud Kipper collided soon after the start. Umiko Bale, Revision, Burrawonga Kevan and Bobby Bound collided approaching the first turn checking Burrawonga Kevan and Bobby Bound. Mud Kipper and Delta Miss collided on the first turn checking Delta Miss. Bamba Lam Barney and Ringer collided entering the back straight severely checking Ringer which fell and checking Bobby Bound which stumbled. Revision and Delta Miss collided on the third turn checking Revision which collided with Bobby Bound.
Ringer was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
A sample was taken from Mud Kipper, winner of the event.
