An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Miss Vane engaged in this event on 22nd September 2016 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Oh Lele Peter and Paw Sa Prize was slow to begin. Shanlyn Percy and Miss Vane collided soon after the start. King Spotalot, Cotton Bud Joe and Oh Lele Peter collided soon after the start. Miss Vane, Shanlyn Percy and Another Blue collided on the first turn checking Cotton Bud Joe. Another Blue and Miss Vane collided approaching the home turn. Paw Sa Prize raced wide in the home straight.
King Spotalot was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left eyelid and a left calf injury. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.
