Steward's Report
Mrs. M. Barber, handler of Whittle Mikado declared a new weight of 27.9kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Whittle Mikado last raced at 26.3kgs.
A pre-race sample was taken from Scarce upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Barham Millich was a late scratching at 2:45pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Jazzy Fizzle and Whittle Mikado were quick to begin. White Escargot, Scarce and Lucky Andy were slow to begin. Zero Care Factor and Lucky Andy collided approaching the first turn. Jazzy Fizzle crossed to the rail on the first turn severely checking Tiger Jams. Zero Care Factor and Lucky Andy collided on the first turn. Whittle Mikado raced wide on the first turn. Zero Care Factor, White Escargot and Lucky Andy collided approaching the home turn checking White Escargot and causing Zero Care Factor to fall severely checking Tiger Jams; Tiger Jams raced wide as a result.
Zero Care Factor was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
