Dream Of Gigi was quick to begin. Scorching Fella and Bryden Lady collided soon after the start. Kinbrae Millie crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Dream Of Gigi, Silky Sock and Har. Funda Down checked off Dream Of Gigi approaching the second turn. Silky Sock was held up for a run approaching the home turn and checked of Scorching Fella. Har and Bryden Lady collided several times in the home straight.
Silky Sock was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist spike wound. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
