Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Beyond Galaxia and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 4:25pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. A. Smit was fined the sum of $100.
Indi Allen was quick to begin. Jet Setting was slow to begin. Burekup Jack and Leopardstown collided soon after the start. Jayco Bale, Angie Rocks and Burekup Jack collided approaching the first turn checking Jayco Bale and Angie Rocks. Burekup Jack and Aston Harvey collided on the first turn checking Aston Harvey which raced wide. Jet setting raced wide on the first turn. Jayco Bale and Leopardstown collided entering the back straight. Burekup Jack raced wide on the home turn.
