Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from King Of Sunshine.
Vintage Box was quick to begin. Implosion Liam and Next Grange were slow to begin. Coopnarcha checked off Hit The Beat on the first turn checking Boloney Club, Next Grange and Implosion Liam and severely checking King Of Sunshine which fell as a result. Implosion Liam checked off Next Grange approaching the home turn.
King Of Sunshine was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right hip. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. C. Schembri regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound King Of Sunshine. Stewards directed that King Of Sunshine be boxed first in future events.
A sample was taken from Hit The Beat, the winner of the event.
