Steward's Report
Nat was a late scratching at 11:55am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Ms. P. Bailey was fined the sum of $100.
Lulugen, Rose Of Dyanna and Lumumba were slow to begin. Lulugen, Rose Of Dyanna ad Lumumba collided on the first turn checking Rose Of Dyanna and severely checking Lumumba; Rose Of Dyanna became unbalanced and Lumumba stumbled as a result. No Road and Tekki Cloud collided on the first turn. No Road checked off Shooters Echo entering the home straight and collided with Mr. Nasty Time. Tekki Cloud and Mr. Nasty Time collided approaching the winning post.
Rose Of Dyanna was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to its left hind medial metatarsal. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. T. Currie, the trainer of Rose Of Dyanna regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the first turn. After viewing all available footage of the event, Stewards took no further action.
