Steward's Report
Zelemar Zest was a late scratching at 8:31am due to Illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Golden Hand.
Implosion Liam, Kobe's Hand, I'm Pumped and Acquitted collided soon after the start severely checking Acquitted which fell as a result. Kobe's Hand checked off Implosion Liam approaching the home turn. Dr. Ripped and Implosion Liam collided on the first turn checking Dr. Ripped, Implosion Liam, I'm Pumped and Kobe's Hand.
Acquitted was vetted following the event. It was found to be deceased on examination by the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to a racing injury. A blood sample was taken from the greyhound.
