Danyo's Slappy and Miss Harmony were slow to begin.
Dr. Des, Quarrel Bale, Velloway and Spring Grace collided soon after the start checking Dr. Des and Velloway. Dr. Des and Velloway collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Dr. Des. Lambda Bale checked off Quarrel Bale on the second turn. Percy's Lad and Miss Harmony collided on the home turn.
