Ava's Shadow was very slow to begin (10 Lengths). Back Slapper and Diegonator collided approaching the first turn. Billie Gaga and Locomotion collided on the first turn, checking Locomotion. Fury Road and Back Slapper collided approaching the home turn, checking Fury Road. Diegonator raced wide in the home straight. Back Slapper crossed to the outside in the home straight, checking Locomotion. 

Soda Storm, Taymel Prince and Dana Archie were slow to begin. Cool Milo, Explosive Sky and Another Man collided soon after the start, checking Explosive Sky and Another Man. Taymel Prince checked off Another Man approaching the first turn, checking Dana Archie. Soda Storm and Another Man collided approaching the first turn. Explosive Sky checked off Dana Archie approaching the second turn. Taymel Prince and Transkei Warrior collided entering the home straight. 

Beautiful Rick crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Flip and Black Pontiac. Flip and Black Pontiac collided approaching the first turn, checking Flip. Marie Schrader crossed to the inside on the first turn, checking Shanlyn Jed, Flip and Black Pontiac, and severely checking Greysynd Chief and Macey's Queen. Macey's Queen and Flip collided approaching the home turn. 

A sample was taken from Beautiful Rick - the winner of the event. 

Sacred Diamond crossed to the inside soon after the start, checking Able Chief. Sarsha crossed to the inside approaching the first turn, checking Thunder Chief, Amaroo Crack It and Able Chief, and severely checking Blasting Bear which stumbled and lost ground. Thunder Chief and Sarsha collided on the first turn. Able Chief and Sarsha collided on the second turn. 

Jesaulenko, He's Panicken and Segatashya were slow to begin. Fever Pitch, He's Panicken and Segatashya collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. McThumpa and Miss Society collided approaching the first turn, checking McThumpa. Star Lord and He's Panicken collided on the first turn, checking Star Lord. McThumpa and Amaroo My Girl collided on the first turn. Miss Society checked off Fever Pitch on the home turn. 

Classy Sparks, Cooler Colour and Skye were slow to begin. Dyna Ping was quick to begin. Peggy Sable and Loving Angels collided soon after the start. Peggy Sable and Loving Angels collided on the first turn, checking Peggy Sable. Peggy Sable and Cooler Colour collided several times on the first turn, checking Explosive Angel and Peggy Sable. Explosive Angel and Peggy Sable collided approaching the winning post. 

Beyond Rapid, Tekki China, Barksdale and Black Selandra collided approaching the first turn, checking Tekki China and Barksdale. Andiamo Neo and Black Selandra collided approaching the first turn, checking Black Selandra. Andiamo Neo, Beyond Rapid and Roxy's Pride collided on the first turn, checking Andiamo Neo, Roxy's Pride and Black Selandra. Andiamo Neo and Roxy's Pride collided approaching the second turn, checking Roxy's Pride and Tekki China. Black Selandra raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight. Barksdale raced wide in the home straight. 

Barksdale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Roxy's Pride was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hind foot, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr D Geall, the trainer of Blue Westmead regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Blue Westmead last raced on 25th March, 2015. Mr Geall stated that the greyhound had been spelled after sustaining a torn tendon in the left shoulder during a trial.

A pre race sample was taken from Apache Tears.

Irish Connection, One Mid and Izumi were slow to begin. Plea For Beer was quick to begin. Blue Westmead and Izumi collided soon after the start. Blue Westmead, One Mid, Izumi and Sir Pendelbury collided on the first turn, checking One Mid and Sir Pendelbury, and severely checking Blue Westmead and Izumi. Sir Pendelbury checked off One Mid approaching the second turn. Blue Westmead checked off Sir Pendelbury on the second turn, causing Blue Westmead to race wide. 

Izumi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A pre race sample was taken from Wahlberg. 

Don't Crumble and Dot Com Diesel were slow to begin. Majimber Rock and Worthy Reab collided approaching the first turn, checking Majimber Rock. Dora's Hand and Alpha Leva Keato collided approaching the first turn, checking Dora's Hand. Dora's Hand faltered approaching the first turn. Alpha Leva Keato and Wahlberg collided several times approaching the first turn. Wahlberg checked off Alpha Leva Keato on the first turn, checking Dot Com Diesel. Alpha Leva Keato checked off Worthy Reab entering the home straight. Dot Com Diesel and Worthy Reab collided approaching the winning post. 

Dora's Hand was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle, a 30 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards spoke to Mr D Irby, the trainer of Watta Good Dee regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Watta Good Dee last raced on 10th March, 2015. Mr Irby stated that the greyhound had been spellad after suffering an injured back. 

I'm So Late, Mick Mow and Hugh Made Who were slow to begin. One Step Beyond, Black Samsara and Jungle Junction collided on the first turn, checking Black Samsara and Jungle Junction. Mick Mow, Watta Good Dee and Hugh Made Who collided on the first turn, checking Watta Good Dee. Mick Mow checked off Black Samsara approaching the second turn, checking Hugh Made Who. Black Samara crossed to the outside entering the home straight, checking Jungle Junction, Wayward Wind and Mick Mow, Black Samsara, Jungle Junction and Mick Mow raced wide as a result. Black Samara and Jungle Junction collided in the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mrs M Brown, the trainer of Just Bling It regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Just Bling It last raced on 29th April, 2015. Mrs Brown stated that the greyhound has had a spell after sustaining a torn tendon to the stopper bone during the last race start at Cranbourne.

Bending Bananas and Inter Sandra were slow to begin. Bending Bananas and Just Bling It collided approaching the first turn. Bending Bananas, Just Bling It and Little Sienna collided on the first turn, checking Bending Bananas and Inter Sandra, and severely checking Just Bling It and Little Sienna. Just Bling It raced wide on the second turn. 

Just Bling It was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left stopper, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
