The race was hand-timed at 32:40 due to a computer problem, which resulted in the computer timing mechanism not activating.  There was no beam time recorded.

Linco Bale and Miss Shirleen collided soon after the start, checking Miss Shirleen.  Linco Bale, Mademoiselle Sox and Spreading Rumors collided approaching the first turn.  Zac's A Sixpence checked off Global Lad approaching the first turn and collided with Miss Shirleen.  Mademoiselle Sox checked off Linco Bale approaching the second turn.  Zac's A Sixpence and Spreading Rumors collided approaching the second turn, checking Spreading Rumors.

Billy Bart was a late scratching at 3:10 pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness (infected anal glands). A seven day stand down period was imposed.

Belfast Tommy and Cosmic Quest were slow to begin.  Iroquois Souljah and Bigboy Brownless collided soon after the start.  Crackerjack Cam checked off Iroquois Souljah approaching the first turn.  Crackerjack Cam checked off Belfast Tommy on the first turn and raced wide as a result.  Iroquois Souljah, Bigboy Brownless and Belfast Tommy collided on the first turn, checking Bigboy Brownless.  Iroqois Souljah and Cowboy Love collided approaching the home turn.  Iroqois Souljah and Cowboy Love collided entering the home straight, checking Iroquois Souljah, Bigboy Brownless and Belfast Tommy, and severely checking Cowboy Love.  Iroquois Souljah and Bigboy Brownless collided in the home straight.  Cowboy Love and Crackerjack Cam collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr P Hammerstein, trainer of the greyhound Barjas, regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced (29 Dec 2014).  Mr Hammerstein stated that the greyhound had whelped a litter of pups.

Maximum Kick, Boloney World and Treatty were slow to begin.  Convoy and Ultra Bright collided soon after the start.  Ultra Bright and Treatty collided approaching the first turn, checking Ultra Bright.  Boloney World checked off Convoy on the first turn.  Convoy checked off Barjas on the first turn.  Convoy and Boloney World collided in the home straight, checking Convoy.

Gan Cao Shen was a late scratching at 2:57 pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to injury (swollen left hind foot).  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Smokester and Onslaught were quick to begin.  My Names Schultz and Go Lakers Go collided soon after the start.  Railway Ruth, My Names Schultz and Go Lakers Go collided approaching the first turn.  Ultimate Cash checked off Railway Ruth approaching the first turn.  Smokester, Onslaught and Lord Regnar collided on the first turn, checking Onslaught and Go Lakers Go, and severely checking Railway Ruth.  Ultimate Cash raced wide on the home turn.

Railway Ruth was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Be Hopeful was slow to begin.  Weather Whatever and Terrorizer collided soon after the start.  Brother Moses and Lektra Khan collided approaching the first turn.  New Job Jimmy checked off Stagger Express on the first turn, checking Brother Moses, Lektra Khan, Weather Whatever and Be Hopeful.  Brother Moses raced wide on the home turn.  Direwolf Ghost and Stagger Express collided several times in the home straight, checking both greyhounds.

Weather Whatever was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Smart Maxwell was quick to begin.  Wayfarer and Jiggly Legs collided soon after the start.  Ricardo Racer, Pyromania and Old Jock collided approaching the first turn, checking Old Jock.  Hunter Rocks and Jiggly Legs collided on the first turn, checking Hunter Rocks.  Hunter Rocks, Wayfarer and Pyromania collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds.  Pyromania then checked off Hunter Rocks on the first turn.

Moonlight Lace and Lace Parasol were quick to begin.  Duval and Jack Mounty were slow to begin.  Oh Lele Simon, Duval and Jack Mounty collided soon after the start, checking Duval and Jack Mounty.  Velo Girl checked off Cashin' In approaching the first turn.  Louisiana Lil, Oh Lele Simon and Moonlight Lace collided approaching the first turn.  Cashin'In, Louisiana Lil and Oh Lele Simon collided on the first turn, checking Lace Parasol, and severely checking Duval, Moonlight Lace and Louisiana Lil.  Jack Mounty raced wide approaching the home turn.  Velo Girl and Oh Lele Simon collided in the home straight.

Louisian Lil was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Hez Got Nitro was quick to begin.  Athos was slow to begin.  Daliya Bale checked off White Bandit soon after the start.  Minority, Rowdy Ronda, Magic Success and White Bandit collided approaching the first turn, checking Magic Success.  White Bandit, Minority and Rowdy Ronda collided on the first turn, checking Rowdy Ronda, Daliya Bale, Magic Success and Minority.  Hez Got Nitro checked off Fuelish on the first turn.  Rowdy Ronda and Daliya Bale collided approaching the home turn, checking Magic Success, and severely checking Rowdy Ronda.

Daliya Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left triceps, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Handsome Cosmo, Pink Martini and Crymelon Ruby were quick to begin.  Bryce's Boy and Cyclone Polly were slow to begin.  Crymelon Ruby and Thermal Expanse collided soon after the start.  Crymelon Ruby and Thermal Expanse collided approaching the first turn, checking Thermal Expanse.  Handsome Cosmo and Pink Martini collided on the first turn, checking Pink Matini and Dura Mater.  Pink Martini and Dura Mater collided approaching the home turn.  Bryce's Boy galloped on the heels of Pink Martini approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds.  Handsome Cosmo and Bryce's Boy raced wide on the home turn.

Ketut's Kaput was vetted and passed fit to run after the greyhound slipped its collar in the parade yard.  Stewards spoke to the handler, Mr G Campbell, and reminded him of his responsibilities when securing the greyhound's collar.

Zipping Anna and Noaki Lynx were quick to begin.  Mr Fox, Ketut's Kaput, Bovelo and Mechatronic collided soon after the start, checking Ketut's Kaput and Bovelo.  Senor Laurie and Sofa So Good collided approaching the first turn, checking Sofa So Good.  Mechatronic, Mr Fox and Senor Laurie collided on the first turn, checking Senor Laurie and Sofa So Good.  Senor Laurie raced wide on the first turn and collided with Bovelo, resulting in Bovelo being checked.  Mr Fox, Mechatronic and Ketut's Kaput collided on the first turn, checking Mechatronic.  Senor Laurie, Sofa So Good and Ketut's Kaput raced wide on the home turn.

Senor Laurie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to left hind.  No stand down period was imposed.

Bovelo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

R Henness, trainer of Ollington, redeclared a new weight of 34.7 kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Ollington last raced at 36.5 kg.

Ollington, El Bee Cee and Tekki Yvettia were slow to begin.  Samsara Lass and Tredgar collided soon after the start.  Tekki Yvettia, El Bee Cee, Ollington and Infinite Senor collided soon after the start.  Tekki Yvettia, Infinite Senor, El Bee Cee, Tredgar and Ollington collided approaching the first turn, checking Ollington and El Bee Cee.  Tredgar, Tekki Yvettia and Infinite Senor collided on the first turn, checking Infinite Senor, Tekki Yvettia and Ollington.
