The start time for this event was rescheduled to 4:54pm due to the abandonment of thoroughbred meetings.
A pre-race sample was taken from Punch It.
Zafonic Zjahdi and Punch It were quick to begin. Classy Boy was slow to begin. Punch It and Ibrox Digger crossed to the rail approaching the first turn. Call Me Scary and Classy Boy collided on the first turn and again in the back straight. St. Victory checked off Classy Boy entering the home straight. Punch It and Ibrox Digger collided several times from entering the home straight and approaching the winning post, checking Punch It.
