Kayla Las was quick to begin.  Trigger Trim and Chase On Case were slow to begin.  Remember Train, Ragtime Jaymee and Need's Luck collided soon after the start checking Remember Train; Remember Train stumbled and checked Trigger Trim and Chase On Case as a result.  Chase On Case checked off Need's Luck on the first turn; Chase On Case fell as a result.  Ragtime Jaymee checked off Sultan's Boy in the home straight.  Remember Train and Need's Luck collided approaching the winning post.

Chase On Case was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to its right shoulder and right quadriceps.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Fallen Star, the winner of the event.

Runnin' Star was a late scratching at 11:34am due to weight variation. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mr. I. Bindley was fined the sum of $100.

Jax Mikado and Billie Gaga were quick to begin.  Vivid Intent, Dr. Trojan and Canya Keato were slow to begin.  Canya Keato crossed to the outside approaching the first turn checking Runnin' Hot; Canya Keato raced wide throughout the rest of the event as a result.  Dr. Trojan checked off Jax Mikado on the home turn.  Jax Mikado and Dr. Trojan collided approaching the winning post.

Smiley Girl was a late scratching at 11:31am due to weight variation. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer, Mrs C. Cortese was fined the sum of $100.

Mr. J. Sultana, trainer of Wandering Vicky redeclared a new weight of 25.5kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Wandering Vicky last raced at 26.8kgs.

Dignity Diamond was quick to begin.  Speed And Rocket and Wandering Vicky were slow to begin.  Snow Mistake was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Mazoku crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Speed And Rocket and Wandering Vicky.  Snow Mistake and Speed And Rocket collided on the first turn.  Speed And Rocket raced wide on the home turn.

Remembrance Day was quick to begin.  Hold On Nitro and Dr. Brownie were slow to begin.  Fantasy McQueen and Purple Pie collided approaching the first turn checking Purple Pie.  Flash Gun, Fantasy McQueen and Dr. Leonardo collided approaching the home turn checking Remembrance Day, Dr. Leonardo and Flash Gun.  Flash Gun, Fantasy McQueen, Dr. Leonardo and Dr. Brownie collided on the home turn checking Remembrance Day, Flash Gun and Dr. Leonardo and causing Purple Pie to race wide.  Flash Gun and Fantasy McQueen collided entering the home straight checking Flash Gun.

Fantasy McQueen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left pencil.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J. Musselwhite, the trainer of Fantasy McQueen regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn.

Shooters Echo and Gold Anthem were quick to begin.  Dr. Timothy and Stiegl were slow to begin.  Heavenly Star and Miss Kadia collided approaching the first turn.  Dr. Timothy crossed to the outside approaching the first turn.  Dr. Timothy checked off Stiegl approaching the home turn.  Our Miss Penny and Gold Anthem collided approaching the home turn.  Dr. Timothy raced wide on the home turn.  Miss Kadia and Makaman collided approaching the winning post.

Dr. Timothy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left monkey muscle.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Have A Tinnie and Dora's Hand were quick to begin.  See You Win and Barada collided soon after the start checking See You Win.  Have A Tinnie and Dora's Hand collided approaching the first turn checking Dora's Hand.  See You Win and Precious Pink collided on the first turn.  Dark Avenger and Have A Tinnie collided approaching the home turn checking Dark Avenger, Dora's Hand and Runaround Susan.  Dora's Hand and See You Win raced wide on the home turn.

Broden Rain and Anna Ray Girl were quick to begin.  Dyna Nodoka was slow to begin.  Valetta Knight and Power Volt collided soon after the start.  Broden Rain and Anna Ray Girl collided approaching the first turn checking Anna Ray Girl.  Smash It galloped on the heels of Valetta Knight on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Power Volt raced wide on the home turn.  Valetta Knight and Dyna Nodoka collided approaching the winning post.  Captain Cotchie tired over the concluding stages of the event.

Captain Cotchie was vetted following event 10.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A pre-race sample was taken from My Minion.

Explosive Angel and Barksdale were quick to begin.  Charlie Spitz, I'm Pumped and Dr. Samson were slow to begin.  Black Kaspa was very slow to begin (3 lengths).  Barksdale and My Minion collided approaching the home turn.  Black Selandra checked off Barksdale approaching the home turn.  Dr. Samson and My Minion collided on the home turn.  Black Selandra checked off I'm Pumped on the home turn.  Black Selandra raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P Pollutro, regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Charlie Spitz.  Stewards directed that Charlie Spitz be boxed first in future events.

Scanez Twelve and Map It Out were quick to begin.  Soda Storm and Bozumolu were slow to begin.  Broon Hilda and Runaway Ellie collided on the first turn checking Runaway Ellie.  Mirror Bale checked off Broon Hilda on the first turn.  Scanez Twelve, Willowvale Hawk and Bozumolu collided approaching the home turn checking all three greyhounds.  Mirror Bale and Soda Storm collided approaching the home turn.  Broon Hilda raced wide on the home turn.  Broon Hilda, Runaway Ellie and Bozumolu collided in the home straight checking Bozumolu.

A pre-race sample was taken from Mirror Bale and was aborted after the sample was found to have been contaminated during the collection process, a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Mrs J. Brooks, trainer of Lulugen redeclared a new weight of 26.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Lulugen last raced at 28.2kgs.

Lika Surprize was quick to begin.  Collekki, Arvo's Joy and Aye Simple Manna were slow to begin.  Lika Surprize, Rulla Ronaldo, Dovizioso and Aye Simple Manna collided on the first turn checking Rulla Ronaldo, Dovizioso, Collekki and Aye Simple Manna.  Lika Surprize and Uno Rae collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Rulla Ronaldo, Uno Rae and Aye Simple Manna and severely checking Lika Surprize and Dovizioso; Dovizioso stumbled and lost ground as a result.

Jules Norris was a late scratching at 11:16am due to injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Assertive Seer and Soda Anne were quick to begin.  Prince Nando and Love Capers were slow to begin.  Purple Flynn crossed to the inside soon after the start checking Purple Flynn, Ice Flicka and Prince Nando and severely checking Love Capers.  Prince Nando and Love Capers collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Prince Nando.  Love Capers galloped on the heels of Ice Flicka approaching the home turn checking Love Capers.

Wicked Wendy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that their was no apparent injury found.
