A pre race sample was taken from Imaculee.
Miss Briony went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Jolly Beggarman and Totally Lost was slow to begin. Allen Kentucky and Smithers collided soon after the start. Jolly Beggarman and Miss Briony collided soon after the start. Imaculee and Smithers collided approaching the first turn. Smithers and Allen Membo collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Miss Briony checked of Imaculee on the first turn. Advocate and Allen Membo collided on the first turn checking Advocate, Allen Membo, Smithers and Totally Lost.
Advocate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
