Miss Briony went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Jolly Beggarman and Totally Lost was slow to begin. Allen Kentucky and Smithers collided soon after the start. Jolly Beggarman and Miss Briony collided soon after the start. Imaculee and Smithers collided approaching the first turn. Smithers and Allen Membo collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Miss Briony checked of Imaculee on the first turn. Advocate and Allen Membo collided on the first turn checking Advocate, Allen Membo, Smithers and Totally Lost.

Advocate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Magic Max prior to kenneling upon arrival at the course.

Magic Max was slow to begin. Perrier Bale and Magic Max collided soon after the start. Nitro Addicition and Turfman collided soon after the start. Magic Max and Nitro Addiction collided approaching tbe first turn checking Magic Max. Gabonia contacted the running rail on the first turn checking Gabonia, Perrier Bale and Turfman. Gabonia and Perrier Bale collided approaching the second turn checking Gabonia. Perrier Bale and Turfman collided on the third turn checking Turfman. Gabonia brushed the running rail approaching the home turn.

Gabonia was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and right hock, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Billy Bio and Will Be Back collided on the first turn checking Billy Bio, Will Be Back, Bradley Bale, Annabow and Lara's Gem. Will Be Back and Bradley Bale collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking Bradley Bale. Billy Bio brushed the running rail on the third turn. Soul Affair and High Mission collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Dawn Cruise checked off Soul Affair entering the back straight. Darcy's Entity and Tat Jocko collided on the third turn. Soul Affair checked off Darcy's Entity on the third turn and collided with Pretty Bale.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Gunmental Rebel trialled over the 525 metres from box 1, weight 31.2kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 30.16, the greyhound won by a margin of 12 lengths. Gunmetal Rebel was Cleared.
