Stewards spoke to Mr G.Bahen, trainer of Hello Darlin' with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between racing. Hello Darlin last raced on 5 March 2015. Mr Bahen stated that Hello Darlin is returning to racing after being on season. Stewards noted Mr Bahen's comments.
Miss Paws was slow to begin. Snowy Hunt and Hello Darlin' collided soon after the start, checking Miss Paws, Snowy Hunt, Hello Darlin' and Aston Agile. Busby Boy and Snaphook Sticka collided soon after the start. Snowy Hunt and Hello Darlin' collided several times from the 250m mark until the 150m mark. Busby Boy and Aston Agile collided at the 200m mark.
