Steward's Report
Tear Away Boof and Shot Of Cain were quick to begin. Saint Gracie went up with the lids at box rise. Shot Of Cain and Tear Away Boof collided soon after the start, checking Tear Away Boof. Mepunga Atom and Don's Racer collided approaching the first turn, checking Mepunga Atom which contacted the running rail, and severly checking Don's Racer which pulled up as a result. Shot Of Cain and Eumeralla Flash collided approaching the home turn. Tear Away Boof checked off Eumerlla Flash approaching the home turn. Mepunga Atom checked off Saint Gracie entering the home straight. Saint Gracie galloped on the heels of Eumeralla Flash in the home straight.
Don's Racer was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle and both triangles, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
