Steward's Report
India Pale was a late scratching at 9:12AM due to illness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Cheeky Hand was quick to begin. Zipping Tank and Just Wins collided soon after the start. Dr. Samson and Carly Jay collided on the first turn and again on the second turn, checking Carly Jay. Zipping Tank and Just Wins collided on the first turn, severely checking Zipping Tank and Claremorris. Dr. Peter checked off Cheeky Hand in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to, and issued a severe reprimand, to Mr. Charles Pirotta (catcher) after he failed to fulfil his catching comittment in this event.
