Steward's Report
Rose For You was a late scratching at 4:35pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Rosette and Roll 'Em Sammy were quick to begin. Blazing Apache was slow to begin. Charltia Lad and Sticka Step collided soon after the start. Sargent Triggs, Charltia Lad and Sticka Step collided approaching the first turn, checking Sargent Triggs. Blazing Apache, Charltia Lad, Sticka Step and Tang Shen collided on the first turn, checking Blazing Apache, Sticka Step and Tang She. Charltia Lad crossed to the rail on the home turn. Blazing Apache raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Tang Shen was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hind, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
