Stewards spoke to Mr D.Burkett, trainer of the greyhound Remy Bale which had not raced since 2 March, 2016. Mr Burkett stated that the greyhound had been spelling.

Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Janray Anolajean trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 27.4kg, the greyhound was placed 4th in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 22.73, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 9 lengths. Janray Anolajean was cleared to race in blinkers.
