Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr R Boyce, trainer of the greyhound Cosmic Jewel which had not raced since 17 March 2016. Mr Boyce stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an achilles injury and also being in season.
A pre-race sample was taken from Cosmic Jewel.
Nero Rose, Aston Lydia and Cosmic Jewel collided soon after the start checking Nero Rose. Dr. Luvdisc and Scanez Elect collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Nero Rose, Aston Lydia and Bar The Bullet collided on the first turn checking Nero Rose.
A sample was taken from Dr. Luvdisc - winner of the event.
