Anustar, Reverend John, Purple Butterfly and Joyous were slow to begin. Anustar and Reverend John collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Anustar. Anustar and Go Close collided approaching the home turn. Joyous raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight. Go Close checked off Anustar on the home turn.

Purple Butterfly was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Who's Irod, Sasovo, Nukstar and Amari were slow to begin. Deadline To Meet, Josie Jo and After Life collided soon after the start checking After Life. Nukstar, Sasovo and Amari collided approaching the first turn. Deadline To Meet and Bambalam Brandy collided approaching the first turn. Josie Jo, After Life, Nukstar and Amari collided on the first turn checking Nukstar which collided with Who's Irod. Amari checked off After Life on the home turn. Who's Irod galloped on the heels of After Life entering the home straight. Nukstar and Amari collided entering the home straight.

A pre race sample was taken from Mahjong Lad.

Anjaha Lass and Conclusive were quick to begin. Swift Danny and Seabrook Dill collided approaching the first turn checking Seabrook Dill. Anjaha Lass and Mahjong Lad collided on the first turn checking Chrissy Pee, Seabrook Dill, Anjaha Lass and Jesse's Typhoon and severely checking Anjaha Lass, Mahjong Lad and Callaway causing Anjaha Lass to fall  and Mahjong Lad to stumble and tail odd as a result. Chrissy Pee and Jesse's Typhoon collided approaching the home turn checking Jesse's Typhoon.

Anjaha Lass was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left deltoid muscle injury. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed. 

Mahjong Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid muscle, left triangle and left groin. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

A pre race sample was uable to be obtained from Mahjong Baby and consequently a post race sample was taken.

Mr. Vane and Mahjong Baby were quick to begin. Balakovo was slow to begin. Don Lino and Penalty Bale collided soon after the start. Don Lino and Frisco Liz collided on the home turn checking Don Lino. Storm Of  All and Balakovo collided on the home turn checking Storm Of All.

Jaimandy Bruce was slow to begin. Proven Eddie and Alpha David collided soon after the start checking Proven Eddie and checking Jaimandy Bruce which stumbles. Big Bold Boomer, Alpha David and Ginger Speed collided on the first turn. Flyin' Les Fergi and Big Bold Boomer collided on the first turn. Big Bold Boomer and Flyin' Les Fergi collided on the second turn checking Flyin' Les Fergi. Sisco Wander and Proven Eddie collided on the home turn. Big Bold Boomer and Flyin' Les Fergi collided in the home straight. Big Bold Boomer and Too Seductive collided approaching the winning post.

Jaimandy Bruce was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left deltoid muscle and left triangle. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Lido's Boy was slow to begin. Charley Arabali, Cass' Cass and Clovalley Dolly collided on the first turn checking Charley Arabali and Clovalley Dolly. Charley Arabali raced wide in the back straight checking Before My Time. Vermont and Sachi collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds. Vermont, Lido's Boy and Sachi collided on the second turn checking Vermont and Sachi. Cass' Cass and Sachi collided approaching the home turn severley checking Cass' Cass and Vermont.

Due to a malfunction of the lure, this event took place at the race 8 start time and all further races were put back one with a new start time for race 12.

Mud Kipper and Gunnewin were slow to begin. Mud Kipper checked off Destini Surfer on the first turn severely checking Mud Kipper and Big Roo Drew.

Golden Warrior was slow to begin. All Inn Together and Hone In collided approaching the first turn. Hardy Chief, All Inn Together, Hone In and Golden Warrior collided on the first turn checking Golden Warrior and All Inn Together. All Inn Together and Golden Warrior collided in the back straight and again approaching the home turn. Golden Warrior checked off All Inn Together on the home turn. Hone In and Militant Chief collided on the home turn and again entering the home straight. Meat Titan checked off Staggerlicious entering the home straight and again in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Elson, the trainer of Tribe regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Tribe last raced on 28/2/16. Mr. Elson stated that  the greyhound was retuning from a spell.

Eftpos Jess, Lonesome George and Ourboy Fab was slow to begin. Ourboy Fab, Chattering, Tribe and Razzle Oak collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Tribe, Chattering and Ourboy Fab. Tribe galloped on the heels of Ourboy Fab on the first turn severely checking Tribe which stumbled and collided with Chattering. Lonesome George and Razzle Oak collided on the first turn checking Razzle Oak. Razzle Oak and Ourboy Fab collided approaching the home turn. Eftpos Jess raced wide on the home turn. Lonesome George and Ourboy Fab collided entering the home straight. Eftpos Jess raced wide in the home straight.

Baba O'Riley, Whipstick Indi and Barnie's Blaster were slow to begin. General Remus, Whipstick Indi and Doyen Ruler collided soon after the start checking Whipstick Indi. Ragnar and Barnie's Blaster collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Baba O'Riley checked off Whipstick Indi approaching the home turn. Top Weight crossed to the rail on the home turn and collided with Doyen Ruler. Whipstick Indi and Baba O'Riley raced wide on the home turn. Top Weight and Doyen Ruler collided in the home straight.

Swift Ruby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained sore right triangle. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Latigo was slow to begin. Parvati Patil and Premier Jess collided soon after the start severely checking Parvati Patil. Gypsy Bee and Premier Jess collided on the first turn. Game Spirit and Latigo collided on the first turn. Kept In Suspense checked off Premier Jess approaching the home turn. Gypsy Bee and Game Spirit collided on the home turn. Premier Jess and Gypsy Bee collided on the home turn. Gypsy Bee and Latigo collided entering the home straight. Parvati Patil galloped on the heels of Premier Jess and collided with Gypsy Bee , checking Gypsy Bee which collided with Latigo. Parvati Patil and Premier Jess collided approaching the winning post.
