Anjaha Lass and Conclusive were quick to begin. Swift Danny and Seabrook Dill collided approaching the first turn checking Seabrook Dill. Anjaha Lass and Mahjong Lad collided on the first turn checking Chrissy Pee, Seabrook Dill, Anjaha Lass and Jesse's Typhoon and severely checking Anjaha Lass, Mahjong Lad and Callaway causing Anjaha Lass to fall and Mahjong Lad to stumble and tail odd as a result. Chrissy Pee and Jesse's Typhoon collided approaching the home turn checking Jesse's Typhoon.
Anjaha Lass was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left deltoid muscle injury. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.
