Conspiracy and Head Wreck collided on the first turn checking Unique Shirley, Gunnewin, Molly Chapta and Head Wreck. Pomp Fiction was held up for a run and checked off Nero Joe approaching the home turn. Head Wreck checked off Pomp Fiction on the home turn. Conspiracy and Nero Joe collided several times in the home straight.

Must Have, Sip Slowly and Teflon Tommy were quick to begin. Must Have, Sip Slowly and Teflon Tommy collided on the first turn checking Sip Slowly, Teflon Tommy and Quink. Von Schnitzel, Warrior Bale, In The Net  and All Inn Together collided on the first turn checking Von Schnitzel, In The Net and All Inn Together. Warrior Bale and Sip Slowly collided on the second turn. Teflon Tommy and Quink collided on the second turn checking Quink and Von Schnitzel. Sip Slowly and Teflon Tommy collided on the home turn.

Sip Slowly was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hind foot. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

A sample was taken from Must Have, winner of the event.

All Inn Boston was slow to begin. Big Ticket and Gotta Get Back collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Gotta Get Back. Sparkeen and Gotta Get Back collided on the home turn.

Gotta Get Back was vetted following the evnt. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left triangle injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Zipping Noel.

Avatar Kelso, Oakstar and Royal Cosmic were slow to begin. Spring Bomber and Cee Ya Mate collided on the first turn. Zipping Noel, Oakstar and Royal Cosmic collided on the first turn. Zipping Noel and Oakstar  collided in the back straight. Avatar Kelso and Oakstar collided on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds. Spring Bomber and Cee Ya Mate collided on the home turn and several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds which raced wide as a result. Cee Ya Mate marred the running of Spring Bomber in the home straight.

Stewards spoke toMr. J. Abela, the trainer of the greyhound Cee Ya Mate regarding the greyhounds racing manners in home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Cee Ya Mate with marring. Mr. Abela pleaded guilty to the charge, Cee Ya Mate was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Cee Ya Mate was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both triangle muscles. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Allen Jeer was slow to begin. My Superstar, Doodle Bug Jay and Texas Tommy collided soon after the start checking My Superstar and Doodlebug Jay. Clovally Mansumi, Fearless John and Paua Of Terror collided on the first turn checking Fearless John and Doodle Bug Jay and severely checking Campeon and My Superstar. Texas Tommy and Allen Jeer collided approaching the home turn checking Texas Tommy. Fearless John and Paua Of Terror collided approaching the home turn checking Fearless John. Doodle Bug Jay and Texas Tommy collided approaching the home turn.

My Superstar was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle and the left groin. A stand dowm period of 14 days was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Marodo.

Mortal Sin and Riverside Mons were quick to begin. Red Tone checked off Marodo approaching the first turn. Sundance Lad and Riverside Mons collided on the first turn. Sundance Lad checked off Marodo on the first turn checking Riverside Mons, Taltarni Shiraz and Thunderous Night, severely checking Red Tone and causing Red Tone to fall. Red Tone tailed off as a result. Sundance Lad checked off Thunderous Night on the home turn.

Marodo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a cut in the mouth. No stand down period was issued.

Red Tone was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right monkey muscle injury. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

Sundance Lad was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid muscle and the right triangle muscle. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Stavron Autos was a late scratching at 14:42 on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to illness. A 3 day day stand down period was imposed.

Cullquin Annie was quick to begin. Matt Machine and Over The Radar collided approaching the first turn. Bobby Tron, Matt Machine and Over The Radar collided on the first turn checking Bobby Tron. Matt Machine checked off Segla entering the home straight. Segla checked off Matt Machine in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Tuffy Bale trialled over the 425mt from box 1, weight 33.1kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.21, the greyhound won by a margin of 10.75L. Tuffy Bale was Cleared.
