Purple Butterfly and Piano Black collided on the first turn checking Piano Black and severly checking Brooklyn Skye, which lost considerable ground as a result. Purple Butterfly and Piano Black collided on the home turn checking Purple Butterfly and Satisfy. 

Brooklyn Skye was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left biceps, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Captain's Call was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left hind toe and right biceps, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr.S.Gibilisco, the trainer of Bobby Tron regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bobby Tron last raced on 12 February 2016. .Mr.Gibilisco stated that the greyhound was returning to race following an injuries to the right hind toe and pad.

A pre race sample was taken from Dyna Gypsy.

Oscorp Bale crossed to the rails approaching the first turn, checking Bobby Tron, Manie Flash and Bulk Carnage. Manie Flash and Bulk Carnage collided approaching the first turn checking Manie Flash. Zolton Bale and Dyna Gypsy collided on the first turn. Bulk Carnage checked off Adelaid Bale approaching the home turn. Manie Flash and Bobby Tron collided approaching the home turn. 

Kamchatka Kid was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Shep and Usain I'm Nutty collided on the first turn checking Usain I'm Nutty. Usain I'm Nutty, Djays Larry, Zac's A Sixpence and Evening Major collided on the first turn checking Evening Major, Zac's A Sixpence and Cadence Bale. Cadence Bale and  Evening Major collided entering the back straight checking Evening Major. Cadence Bale and Evening Major collided in the back straight. Usain I'm Nutty and Rhapsody Twist collided entering the home straight. Djays Larry eased approaching the winning post. Rhapsody Twist and Djays Larry collided approaching the winning post. 

Stewards spoke to Mr K Daisley the trainer of the greyhound Djays Larry regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Djays Larry was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right triceps, a seven day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Djays Larry with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr K Daisley pleaded not guilty to the charge, Djays Larry was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trail (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a)before any future nomination will be accepted.

Reignlee and Fizzy Bale were quick to begin. 

Fizzy Bale crossed to the rails soon after the start checking Black Pontiac, Reignlee and Dynamo's Gift. Spritely Boy checked off Reignlee approaching the first turn checking Dynamo's Gift. Dynamo's Gift and Spritely Boy collided on the first turn severly checking Spritely Boy which stumbled and lost considerable ground. Dom Daisy checked off Reignlee approaching the home turn. Dyna Yavin checked off Golden Warrior approaching the home turn.

Spritely Boy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the left toe, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs L Darby the handler, regarding her difficulty in boxing the greyhound Dynamo's Gift.  Stewards directed that Dynamo's Gift be boxed first in future events.

Monster Roar galloped on the heels of One Mississippi on the home turn, checking One Mississippi. Solitary Tear eased in the home straight and collided with Monster Roar checking both greyhounds.

Stewards spoke to Mr C Taylor, the representative of the greyhound Solitary Tear regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Solitary Tear was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right foreleg sesamoid, a 10 daystand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Solitary Tear with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr C Taylor pleaded guilty to the charge, Solitary Tear was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.
