Steward's Report
Pre race sample was taken from Ava's Angel.
Cash Car Star went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin. Pyramid Flyer checked off Call Me Swift approaching the first turn. Pyramid Flyer and Ava's Angel collided on the first turn checking Pyramid Flyer. Ava's Angel galloped on the heels of Fancy Bounce approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Ava's Angel, Pyramid Flyer, Kilty's Tiger and Cash Car Star collided approaching the home turn checking Pyramid Flyer, Ava's Angel and Kilty's Tiger. Fancy Bounce and Miss Georgia May collided on the home turn.
Cash Car Star was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustaned injuries to the left calf muscle and left back muscle. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
Stewards noted that the muzzle of Cash Car Star became dislodged during the running of this event.
