Old Zebb was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr R Bromley in regards to the greyhound Lemon Patchwork which had not raced since 4 May 2016. Mr Bromley stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after recovering from a fractured shoulder.

Stewards spoke to Mr D Burkett in regards to the greyhound Dyna Priscilla which had not raced since 17 February 2016. Mr Burkett stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season. 

Boloney Club was slow to begin. Lektra Diva, Go Lakers Go and Dyna Priscilla collided approaching the first turn checking Go Lakers Go and severely checking Lektra Diva which stumbled. Kraken Concord and Smooth Silver collided approaching the first turn. Go Lakers Go galloped on the heels of Dyna Pricilla approaching the first turn severely checking Go Lakers Go which stumbled. Go Lakers Go and Smooth Silver collided approaching the home turn.

Lektra Diva was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mr G Berry, trainer of Cosmic Pauly declared a new weight of 31.8kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Cosmic Pauly last raced at 30.3kg.

Roll 'Em Maggie and Uncool Albert collided soon after the start checking Roll 'Em Maggie. Elite Stress galloped on the heels of Veetee Boomer. We Froff Dat, Roll 'Em Maggie and Hilltop Senorita collided on the first turn checking Roll 'Em Maggie and Hilltop Senorita. Roll 'Em Maggie, Hilltop Senorita and Veetee Boomer collided approaching the home turn severely checking Hilltop Senorita. Cosmic Pauly and All Inn Black collided approaching the home turn severely checking All Inn Black which fell checking Uncool Albert as a result. Elite Stress and Uncool Albert collided on the home turn. Elite Stress checked off Cosmic Pauly in the home straight.

All Inn Black was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist, left elbow, left shoulder and both groin muscles. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

A pre race sample was taken from Sienna's Lilly.

Heartbreak Hermy was slow to begin. Delta Miss and Sienna's Lilly collided on the first turn. Proven Malibu, Calen and Scott Eeyore collided on the first turn checking Scott Eeyore and Calen. Heartbreak Hermy, Cullquin Peachy and Galmist collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Scott Eeyore and Calen collided on the second turn checking Scott Eeyore. Calen galloped on the heels of Delta Miss approaching the home turn. Heartbreak Hermy and Delta Miss collided approaching the home turn severely checking Delta Miss and Calen.

Blue Label was a late scratching at 2.09pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. D. Leathan was fined the sum of $100.

Ava's Angel, Pyramid Flyer, Kilty's Tiger and Cash Car Star collided approaching the home turn checking Pyramid Flyer, Ava's Angel and Kilty's Tiger. Fancy Bounce and Miss Georgia May collided on the home turn.

Cash Car Star was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustaned injuries to the left calf muscle and left back muscle. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Stewards noted that the muzzle of Cash Car Star became dislodged during the running of this event.
