Steward's Report
Give Me Dianne was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Yap Yap Galo and Soho Shingana collided approaching the first turn severely checking Yap Yap Galo. Soho Shingana veered out and marred the running of Belle's Tiny on the home turn. Give Me Dianne raced wide entering the home straight and again in the home straight.
Soho Shingana was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injured gums. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Davidson, the representative of the greyhound Soho Shingana. Acting under GAR 69(1)(a) stewards charged Soho Shingana with marring and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at Ballarat and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
Give Me Dianne was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to it's left thigh. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
