Sir Al and Centralian were slow to begin.
Under Control checked off Uno Kee soon after the start checking Sir Al. Bacardo, Danyo's Vassy, Uno Kee and Five Hammers collided on the first turn checking Danyo's Vassy, Uno Kee and Five Hammers. Uno Kee and Sir Al collided approaching the winning post.
Danyo's Vassy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right pencil muscle. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
