Stewards held the "all clear signal" in order to view the official footage of the race, in particular the start of the event and the lure position soon after the start. It was established that the boxes opened prematurely and that  the distance of the lure soon after the start did not meet the requirments of GAR 55. Stewards then declared the event to be a "no race".
