Steward's Report

Stewards spoke to Mr G. Glass, Trainer of Premier Malt, with regard to the length of time the greyhound has had between racing. Premier Malt last raced on 8th September, 2014.   Mr Glass stated that Premier Malt is returning to racing after whelping a litter of pups.  Stewards noted Mr Glass'  comments.

Harden Bale and Roo Dee were slow to begin.  Premier Malt and Deborah Lee collided approaching the first turn.  Lioness Lulu, Allen Quarian and Nork collided on the first turn checking Lioness Lulu, severely checking Allen Quarian, Nork and Premier Malt.  Deborah Lee and Roo Dee collided on the first turn.  Lioness Lulu and Harden Bale collided on the first turn causing Harden Bale to contact the running rail.  Premier Malt checked off Allen Quarian on the second turn.

Harden Bale was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the right front, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
