Gunmetal Lad was quick to begin. Flying Holly was slow to begin. Tat Molly checked off Northern Ghost soon after the start. Northern Ghost checked off Draper Bale approaching the first turn. All Inn Bundy checked off Gunmetal Lad on the first turn. Northern Ghost and Flying Holly collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Northern Ghost lost ground as a result. Startin To Shake checked off Will Be Back in the home straight.
Northern Ghost was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the neck, left thigh and left back muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
