Stewards spoke to Mr D. Barron, Trainer of Beejay's Lass prior to the meeting and ascertained that the greyhound had not started in a race since 10 February, 2015, due to being injured in the last start.
Rum Island and Beejay's Lass were slow to begin. Note Book and Jaimandy Ruddy collided approaching the first turn checking Note Book. Go Lakers Go, All Inn Wingate and Beejay's Lass collided on the first turn checking All Inn Wingate. Go Lakers Go and Beejay's Lass collided on the first turn. All Inn Wingate galloped on the heels of Go Lakers Go approaching the home turn checking Go Lakers Go, All Inn Wingate and Jaimandy Ruddy. Note Book and Jaimandy Ruddy collided on the home turn. Jaimandy Ruddy crossed to the rail in the home straight checking Note Book.
Stewards spoke to Mr S. Gibilisco and reminded him of his responsibilities regarding touching the Starting Boxes after the greyhounds had been loaded.
