Mighty Hulk and All Inn Jack were quick to begin. Pass Of Time, Cotton Bud Joe, Grand Slam Diva and Creative Pearl collided soon after the start. Silvertop crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Creative Pearl, Grand Slam Diva, Cotton Bud Joe and Pass Of Time. Mighty Hulk checked off Silvertop on the first turn. Clovalley Rang, Pass Of Time, Cotton Bud Joe and Grand Slam Diva collided on the first turn checking Pass Of Time, Cotton Bud Joe and Grand Slam Diva. Pass Of Time checked off Clovalley Rang and crossed to the outside approaching the home turn checking Grand Slam Diva and Creative Pearl, which raced wide. Clovalley Rang, Pass Of Time and Creative Pearl raced wide in the home straight.
